Nestled between the beaches Jobos and Montones in the town of Isabela you’ll find a private gated community of 108 condo units known as Bela Beach Resort. It enjoys 24 hour, 7-day security and a semi-private beach. Less than thirty families live here all year ‘round, the remaining units are used as holiday and vacation homes or rented by the respective owners. We are located in an area of the island frequented by vacationing islanders, as well as surfers from the United States that have been vacationing here dating back to the 1960’s.
As you walk onto the beach you will find yourself before the aqua blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The more frequented public beaches of Montones and Jobos are within sight and walking distance. Montones is a more secluded beach with the Olas Y Arenas Restaurant right at the shoreline. Jobos has public parking and nearby restaurants and bars—one of them, Soniarican, offers beers, drinks and food right on the beach. The beaches of Shacks, Old Ruins, and Crashboat are a short drive away.
The dress code and ambiance are casual and relaxed in all area restaurants. Expect to find traditional Puerto Rican cuisine featuring fresh fish and seafood caught by local fishermen. Stuffed mofongo, rice and beans, fried plantains are staple items on most menus. English is spoken by most locals and in all establishments.
If you are looking to enjoy a vacation off the beaten path that offers water sports, sun and relaxation, or a quiet get-away with the family, Isla Bela Beach Resort offers that and more.
